Hello readers and welcome to the next post in my European Alphabet Challenge. In my previous post, I showed you my new club job in Croatia, SKN Split… well here’s how we got on with the remainder of the season:
So we finished in the position I took them over in…. 4th. This granted us Europa League football next season although as you can imagine, it will be very tricky to win the league. Once thing I can forget about however, is the Croatian Cup…
We overcame 2nd Division side Zadar with an aggregate score of 4-0 in the final, meaning we have won the Croatian Cup! Thankfully we don’t have to win this again now, so I can focus on the league. Here are the players stats for the league this season:
These stats don’t really tell you much as I was only here for around half a season. Next season should be a bit better as I will have a full season in charge.
However that’s not all that happened… it seems as though I will not be managing RNK Split any more, seeing as this happened:
Dinamo Zagreb sacked their manager after finishing 2nd twice in a row. He had been at the club for around 9 years so to get sacked, I was surprised. Of course I applied for the job, seeing as it will be much easier for me to win the league with Dinamo Zagreb.
After applying for the job just 3 days before, I was offered it. £12.25m to spend with £35k in wages…. I will happily accept these budgets. Hopefully, if we spend well we can achieve title success in the 1st season.
Thanks for reading and please vote/comment!

Hey meow,
That Dinamo job is a good opportunity and you’ll probably have Croatia done in a season with those budgets.

Yeah, I was really surprised to have the opportunity to manage Dinamo, I had to jump at it.
